Tomáš Mařas se narodil 12.12.1971 v Praze, kde strávil dětství. Dospívání a většinu života prožil na Českolipsku a v současnosti žije v Liberci. Původní profesí sklář se zaměřením na výrobu forem se malbě a kresbě věnuje desítky let. Na zakázku vytvořil například olejomalby pro tetovací salony (např. Hannah Tattoo). Tetování také navrhoval a některé návrhy publikoval Tattoo Art Magazin Tetování. Ilustracemi přispěl do dnes již neexistujícího časopisu Ikarie. Pro společnost Crystal Caviar navrhl sady nápojových souprav nebo motivy pro pískované a leptané skleněné stěny do interiérů. Na začátku milénia věnoval několik let veškerou uměleckou aktivitu keramice, kdy kromě autorských plastik do interiérů vytvořil také prostorově objemné mísy. Nyní se věnuje výhradně volné tvorbě, kdy se orientuje na olej, akryl, akvarel a kresbu.
Tomáš Mařas was born on December 12th in Prague where he also spent his childhood. He spent his teen years and most of his life in the Česká Lípa region and currently he resides in Liberec. Originally a glassmaker specialized in forms, he has been painting and drawing for decades. He has made commissioned oil paintings for tattoo studios (Hannah Tattoo) and he did some tattoo designs himself, some were published by Tattoo Art Magazin Tetování. He contributed to a no longer existing magazine Ikarie with his illustrations. Also he designed beverage sets for the Crystal Caviar company and interior sandblasted and etched glass wall motives. At the beginning of the millennium he focused exclusively on ceramic for several years. In this field he has made original sculptures and space-intensive interior bowls. Currently he focuses on free-themed art using oil, acrylic paint, aquarell and drawing.
